Training Plan and Diary

This is a diary of my training over the 20 weeks before my race.

My original plan involved a 20 week training regime designed to achieve race fitness for competing in and completing an Ironman 70.3. The plan called for swimming 45 miles, cycling 1900 miles, and running for 56 hours. Once the race has complete I will revisit these figures to see how closely I achieved these goals. The reality has been less ambitious!
